How to enter your Erie Open Spec data into Water Reporter

- From the Erie Open Spec app, jot down the Phosphate and Nitrate absorbance Rates.
- Open up the Water Reporter app.
- In the bottom right hand corner. click the blue circle pencil to access your digital forms.
- Under “collect monitoring data” select the “EOS Nutrient Absorbances” Data Source.
- A new sample has been opened where you can input data.
- Edit the collection date if necessary.
- Select the station.
- Add in your phosphate and nitrate readings.
- Click the green check mark to save your sample.
- To add a new sample, scroll to the top of the sample page and click “View all Samples”.
- Press the green + circle to start a new sample.
- Log in to WaterReporter.org. On your dashboard, navigate to your "EOS Nutrient Absorbances" Data Source and click "Contribute Data".
- Click "Summary".
- Click the green plus sign to add in a new sample.
- Edit the collection date if necessary.
- Select the station.
- Add in your phosphate and nitrate readings.
- Click the green check mark to save your sample.
- Upload a .csv file into the EOS data source. NOTE: This only works if you are an administrative account holder. You'll need to learn how to do this and we'll teach you.
