The team behind Water Reporter has built native apps for Android and iOS phones. When we first started out creating this product for our community, native apps were a strategic choice. The pros of building separate native apps rather than a wrapper were that we could offer faster responsiveness and better functionality to everyone this way. The con to this approach was that we were building and maintaining two separate sets of code which results in two separate interfaces.
Regardless of if you're using an Android or iPhone, the Water Reporter app works in the same way by sharing geo-located reports to the community and to local watershed groups operating in the area.
When you're exploring these help documents, we've shared screen shots of an Android phone but the step by step instructions should be close enough to follow regardless of which device you are using.
